Does it last 10 minutes or 10 years?
God requires our faith to last longer than it takes us to microwave a tv dinner. We get so impatient when we are waiting on God.
One day we are praising him and the next day we are complaining to him.
One day we are up and the next we are down.
Where is our consistency? Where is our faith…against all odds and despite what it looks like?
We know that Hebrews 11:1 says “Now Faith.”
Think about it, every second is now. Every moment speaks to now. In other words we need to consistently have faith within every second, every step, and every breath in our lives.
Quit worrying about tomorrow and just focus on the now – stay in this moment and let that faith continue to carry you.
We all know that it’s not easy not to worry or think about what tomorrow may bring. But as the Bible says, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Keep your faith. Keep your praise and keep knowing that God is in this present moment working right now on whatever the situation may be.
